2 N. Hollywood Women Die in Auto Crash
Two North Hollywood women were killed and a Sun Valley man remained hospitalized Thursday after a traffic collision in San Fernando early Wednesday morning, police said.
Mary Rodriguez, 29, and Deborah Reisner, 30, were killed when their car was hit by another car and then crashed into a utility pole at North Maclay Avenue and Glenoaks Boulevard, San Fernando police said.
Donald Allen Long, 32, driver of the other car, was in serious condition at Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills suffering from a broken back, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Two passengers in his car received minor injuries, police said.
