Doug Harvey, a 25-year National League veteran with five years of playoff experience, and Larry Barnett, a 17-year American League veteran who has worked four playoffs, will head six-man umpiring crews in the League Championship Series, the leagues announced.
Harvey, 56, will be assisted by Lee Weyer, Frank Pulli, Dutch Rennert, Joe West and Fred Brocklander.
Barnett will work with Larry McCoy, Nick Bremigan, Terry Cooney, Rich Garcia and Rocky Roe.
