CORONA — A Carlsbad man died Sunday night when he was thrown from his car as it flipped over after going out of control on Interstate 15 near here, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Ronald Eugene Tush, 37, was pronounced dead at the scene, said John Anderson of the CHP’s Riverside office.
According to witnesses, Tush was driving south in the fast lane of Interstate 15 at 90 m.p.h. when he lost control of his car, Anderson said. After going into the median, the car spun back across the freeway, hit a concrete barrier and rolled several times, ejecting Tush, who was not wearing a seat belt, Anderson said.
