Santa Ana : 2 Men Are Arrested in Death of Man at YMCA
Two men were being held in County Jail on suspicion of murder Tuesday in connection with the death of a man whose body was found at the Santa Ana YMCA, police said.
Harvey Sullivan, 41, and Joseph Wilson, 18, both of whom also had lived at the YMCA on West Civic Center Drive at one time, were arrested shortly after officers found a man dead in his room about noon Monday, Sgt. Don Robertson said.
Investigators were acting on a tip from a confidential informant, who told them a killing had occurred in connection with a robbery at the YMCA early Friday morning, Robertson said.
The victim was not immediately identified by police, pending notification of his family, and an autopsy was scheduled to determine the cause of death, Robertson said.
