Two people were arrested during a raid on a methamphetamine lab in their La Mesa house Wednesday evening, authorities said.

Paul Manning Walker, 33, and Lisa Rose Quan, 27, were booked into County Jail on suspicion of manufacturing methamphetamine. They are being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.

Sidney Hayakawa of the federal Drug Enforcement Administration said DEA agents and La Mesa police officers executed a search warrant about 7:30 p.m. at the house on Guava Avenue. He said that, based on the glassware and chemicals found at the house, a DEA chemist estimated the lab could have produced as much as three kilograms of methamphetamine a day.
