Local News in Brief : Pedestrian Killed in Sylmar Is Identified

Aman who died Thursday night after being struck in Sylmar by two cars, one after another, was identified Friday as Steven Cagel, 28, of Sylmar.
Los Angeles police said Cagel was walking across San Fernando Road near Astoria Street when he turned around in the middle of the street, was struck by one car and thrown into the path of another car.
Investigators are looking for the driver of the second car, who they say fled. The driver of the first car was not charged.
