The Region - News from Oct. 12, 1986

A $100,000 reward, good for 90 days only, is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the terrorist bombing that killed Alex M. Odeh, Western regional director of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC). Odeh died Oct. 11, 1985, after a bomb booby-trapped to a door exploded in his Santa Ana office. The Rev. Jesse Jackson, speaking at an Odeh memorial dinner in Anaheim, said the FBI should pursue the killers of American-Arab spokesman Alex Odeh with the same intensity used to find the killers of Leon Klinghoffer. “The same degree of vigor with which the terrorists who killed Mr. Klinghoffer were pursued should be used in pursuit of the killers of Alex Odeh,” said Jackson.
