A restaurant maintenance man was arrested in the stabbing death of a 26-year-old woman whose body was found near the restaurant, authorities said. Robert Brewer, who has worked at the Snack N Chat Breakfast House in the 5500 block of West Pico Boulevard for the past two years, was taken into custody by Los Angeles police officers soon after the body of Janet Stephens was found in an alley behind the restaurant around 6 a.m., investigators said.
