Man Killed; May Be 9th Victim
A man was found shot to death on a park bench in southwestern Los Angeles this morning, and detectives probing eight other street killings were called in to investigate.
Police said that like at least four of the other victims, the unidentified man found today at a picnic area in St. Andrews Park, near Manchester Boulevard and St. Andrews Place, may have been a transient. It was not immediately determined whether he was a victim of the serial killer who shoots his victims to death on the streets in the early-morning hours.
