The body of an unidentified man, his hands bound behind his back, was discovered Tuesday near La Jolla Indian Campground, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department reported.
The body was found lying 20 feet down a steep bank on the south side of California 76 near Pala, homicide detectives said. Although the man appeared to have head injuries, the cause of death was unknown. An autopsy was scheduled for today.
