Fullerton : Bandits Tie Attendant at Station, Steal $450
Two men armed with handguns tied a service station attendant to a ladder, then stole an estimated $450 from the station’s cash register before fleeing late Tuesday, police said.
Officers said the clerk, identified as Erwin Zecena, 20, was unharmed. Zecena could give no description of the robbers but identified their car as a dark-colored 1970 Ford Mustang, officers said.
The robbery occurred at a Texaco station at 1101 W. Commonwealth Ave., police said.
