Cabin Cruiser Catches Fire: A cabin cruiser tied to a condominium dock in Discovery Bay caught fire Thursday afternoon. The flames caused an estimated $10,000 to $15,000 damage before being extinguished by county Harbor Patrol officers. Officers said the fire appeared to have started in the electrical system of the High Roller II, a 30-foot Sea Ray. The fire caused extensive damage to the interior of the boat, estimated to be worth $45,000, officers said. A spokesman identified the boat’s owner as Charles Goucher, a resident of the condominium development.
