Housing Institute Aids Ortiz Family
The Jose Ortiz family of Romoland, which lost a child in a recent fire that also destroyed their home, now has a new home, thanks to the efforts of several members of the California Manufactured Housing Institute.
The home was donated by Dick Bratton of Bratton Enterprises, Riverside; the placement of the home on the Ortiz property was provided by Johns Vincent, Amigos Mobile Home Sales, Vista, and the transportation of the home to the site was donated by Norman Philjaw, Norman’s Transport, Fallbrook. The Riverside County Department of Building and Safety provided time and expertise in obtaining building permits.
