5 Die in Incidents Tied to Deer Hunting in Utah

SALT LAKE CITY —
Five people died on the opening weekend of Utah’s deer-hunting season, including a rescue squad member who braved foul weather in a search for a missing brother-in-law who was later found alive, officials said.
One hunter was shot in an argument at his hunting camp in Carbon County, and another died after being hit by lightning. Two people died in traffic accidents, including the rescue squad member, and a woman died at her camp, apparently of a heart attack.
