Random drug testing will be conducted during the first track and field world indoor championships March 6-8 in Indianapolis.
The drug testing will be determined by lottery. No athlete will be notified in advance that he or she will be tested, and it will be done on the same day the athlete is competing, according to an International Amateur Athletic Federation spokesman.
