Kings Meet Rangers Tonight
NEW YORK —
The Kings open a six-game, 2 1/2-week trip tonight against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden.
The struggling Rangers (1-3-2) still are missing three veteran players with minor injuries, which may explain their defensive lapses to date.
After finishing last season with the league’s third-best goals-against average, the Rangers have allowed 25 goals in 6 games.
The Kings (3-3-0) were 1-2-0 against the Rangers last season.
