A 12-year Los Angeles Police Department veteran has been arrested and jailed after his two stepdaughters said he had been having sex with them since the late 1970s, a police spokesman said. Lincoln Pullin, 44, a Southwest Division patrol officer, was booked on suspicion of rape, sodomy and assault with a deadly weapon in connection with the allegations by the stepdaughters, ages 17 and 22, police spokesman Lt. Dan Cooke said. Cooke said Pullin resigned from the force soon after his arrest Thursday and was being held at Parker Center jail in lieu of $250,000 bail. Cooke declined to say what prompted the stepdaughters to make the accusations, which were investigated by Internal Affairs Division officers. Pullin has been separated from his wife for four months, Cooke said, and the younger stepdaughter is living with her.
