A 59-year-old man from Orange was killed in a traffic accident in Riverside County. The victim, whose name was withheld until his family could be notified, was pronounced dead on arrival at Corona Community Hospital, California Highway Patrol Officer Terry Taylor said. The man was driving alone in the eastbound lanes of the Riverside Freeway when he lost control of his 1986 Ford Bronco, said John Anderson, CHP public information officer in Riverside. The vehicle, out of control, veered from the right lane to the shoulder, then rolled over at least once, ejecting its driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, Anderson said. The man suffered massive head injuries, the officer said. The accident occurred west of Serfas Club Drive, in the unincorporated Coronita section, Anderson said.
