Detroit Tiger pitcher Jack Morris is one of seven players who have registered for free agency, the players’ association said.
Others were Tim Raines, Andre Dawson and Wayne Krenchicki of the Montreal Expos, Harry Spilman of the San Francisco Giants, David Palmer of the Atlanta Braves and Ted Simmons of the Atlanta Braves.
Players have until 15 days after the final game of the World Series to file for free agency.
