The New York Mets got a record payoff of $3,112,894.19 for winning the World Series, with 31 people receiving full shares worth $86,254. Twenty-five others will get partial shares, and eight others will get cash awards.
The losing Boston Red Sox will divide $2,334,670.64, each of the 28 full shares being worth $74,985.65. The Red Sox also voted 5 partial shares and 18 cash awards.
