Tour Tram Kills Universal Studios Worker
A 20-year-old employee of Universal Studios was run over by a tour tram and killed about 9 p.m. Friday, the Los Angeles city Fire Department reported. The man’s identity was not immediately released.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies were investigating the apparent accident, and details surrounding the death were sketchy at the scene, a sheriff’s spokesman said. The studio grounds are in an unincorporated part of the county.
Universal Studios was holding “Halloween Horror Night,” at which thousands of visitors were expected to tour special fright sets on the studio back lot.
