UCLA Graduate School Renamed for Late Dean
The UCLA Graduate School of Architecture and Urban Planning has been renamed the Harvey S. Perloff Hall, by the UC Board of Regents, to commemorate the late dean of the school.
Perloff headed the school from 1968 until his death in 1983 and was the author of 17 books. He was recognized as a practitioner and educator in city and regional planning. An endowed chair has also been established in his name at UCLA.
