Navratilova Will Skip Dallas Tournament

DALLAS —
Martina Navratilova, the top-ranked player in women’s tennis, will not play in the Virginia Slims of Dallas tournament next March.
Navratilova is the tournament’s defending champion, and the Slims of Dallas is the only chance Navratilova, who lives in Fort Worth, gets to play in a tournament in front of her adopted hometown fans.
