Traveling in Style

You may well be proud to bring me Traveling in Style Oct. 19. The stunning cover of Milan’s Duomo Cathedral is one of the most beautiful views I’ve seen, and I’d like to extend my congratulations to photographer Francisco Hidalgo. It was exactly to the day two years ago that I was in Milan overwhelmed by the beauty of the city everywhere I turned. And I’d been warned that Milan was the fiscal center of Italy. And so I expected the hustle and bustle which were there, but on Sunday our tour group lazed at the cafes in the shadows of the cathedral, completely awed and speechless by the beauty facing us. Your cover brought back memories and a wish to return to Bella Italia and once again to collapse at the cafe and let the Milanese cathedral and environs charm me. SHERRY TERZIAN Los Angeles
