Traveling in Style

Last week after reading Jerry’s article about finding vacation spots for the little girl who wrote him asking for ideas, I fully intended writing to thank him for a marvelous armchair travel trip. Some of the places he described, I have been to, others were just wishes and dreams. But I delayed.

Then came Traveling in Style. It is an absolutely fascinating booklet, and all the people contributing to it are to be congratulated. The very special piece, however, is Jerry’s about Hana. I, too, love Maui and have spent several vacations on the island, but unfortunately not to stay at Hana, only visit a couple of times. I’ll never forget the ride on that road from Kahului.
