Martin S. Gottlieb, a New York Times metropolitan reporter, has been appointed editor of the weekly Village Voice in New York. He will take over as editor of the Voice on Dec. 8. Gottlieb, 38, has been on the New York Times’ metropolitan staff since 1983 and before that worked as an editor and reporter at the New York Daily News.
