Forward Charles Barkley of the Philadelphia 76ers has been hospitalized for tests to determine the cause of internal bleeding.

Barkley, who is expected to be out for at least a week, was hurt when he fell pursuing a rebound Tuesday night. He caught his foot against teammate Julius Erving’s shoulder and fell flat on his stomach and arm.
