Filth in Westwood
On Wilshire Boulevard, in Westwood, where we have there ravaged and multilated skeletons of building left unfinished to stare at year after year, we have an additional problem: The areas around these lots are filthy!
The debris, garbage, piles up, year after year, and those of us who walk through the rickety, unsafe, wooden tunnels (try it with your wife sometimes, in high heels) or those of us who wait at the bus stops, are victimized by this ugly, unsanitary, environment.
Is there a city department we can appeal to? Don’t the developers have any responsibilities, outside of making money?
