Eu Won’t Need Plastic Surgery
From United Press International
Secretary of State March Fong Eu will not require plastic surgery for wounds inflicted by a robber who beat her with the blunt end of an ax, a spokeswoman said today.
In an update of her medical condition, spokeswoman Caren Daniels-Meade said Eu, 64, also suffered several cracked ribs in the Monday night attack in her Hancock Park home. Daniels-Meade said that Eu’s condition is steadily improving but that she will remain in Westside Hospital for an “unspecified” time.
