Entertainer Frank Sinatra was walking hospital corridors and joking with doctors and nurses as he recuperated from emergency intestinal surgery, Eisenhower Medical Center officials said. Sinatra, 70, had normal vital signs and his progress continued to be good, said a hospital spokeswoman, quoting a release issued by Dr. Alan Altman, the singer’s physician. Surgeons removed a 12-inch section of Sinatra’s large intestine Sunday after he became ill in Atlantic City, N.J.
