Californian Named to Head Disability Advisory Panel

WASHINGTON — Health and Human Services Secretary Otis R. Bowen on Tuesday named Dr. John E. Affeldt of Rancho Santa Fe, Calif., to head an advisory council that will study medical and vocational aspects of federal disability programs. He said the council will study ways to improve the Social Security and Supplemental Security income disability programs.
