Irvine : Man, Teen-ager Arrested on Marijuana Charges
Narcotics agents arrested a man and a teen-age boy and seized half a pound of marijuana Wednesday in a raid that culminated three weeks of surveillance of the youth’s residence, police said.
Theodore John Cooper, 22, of Irvine was booked on suspicion of selling marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, and sale of a controlled substance, Investigator Shari Lohman said. The 15-year-old boy, whose name was withheld because of his age, also was taken into custody.
Lohman said in a prepared statement that the arrests were made after three weeks of surveillance by detectives, during which they witnessed marijuana sold at the youth’s home in the 4900 block of Flagstar Circle.
