Palisades, Roosevelt Girls Retain City Titles

The Palisades and Roosevelt girls’ volleyball teams easily won the City 4-A and 3-A championships Saturday night at Venice High School, marking the fifth consecutive title for each team.
Palisades won its fifth straight 4-A title with a 15-4, 15-11, 15-0 victory over University, while Roosevelt beat South Gate, 15-2, 15-8, 17-15, for its fifth straight 3-A championship.
