Lynwood : Free Trolley Buses to Roll
Two fire-engine red, green-trimmed buses resembling San Francisco cable cars are scheduled to start operating Dec. 6 as the city’s first fixed-route bus system.
The 26-passenger buses will operate seven days a week throughout the 4.84-square mile community. During December, bus hours will be from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and in January hours will be from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There will be no charge to use the system.
