San Diego Gas & Electric Co. reinstated clerk Collette Clark after company officials apologized and admitted that a urinalysis test indicating she had been using marijuana was faulty. Clark, a single parent who had worked for the utility for 17 months and was required to take the test upon her application for a higher-paying temporary position, sued after she was fired. An undisclosed financial settlement accompanied the apology. The test was conducted by a laboratory that no longer contracts with SDG&E.;
