Louie Wins in Straight Sets
Judy Louie of Newport Beach defeated Kate Gooch of La Jolla, 6-0, 6-0, in the second round of the women’s 40 and over division of the USTA National Hardcourt Tennis Championships Wednesday at the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club.
Louie is the tournament’s top-seeded player. She had a first-round bye.
