AND WAIT, THERE’S MORE: Boy George has had plenty of trouble recently, with his much-publicized bout with heroin addiction and a subsequent lawsuit involving the death of a young man in the pop poster-boy’s London apartment. Now his band, Culture Club, has left Epic Records, the group’s longtime label. (Epic says the company’s contract with the group has expired). Since Culture Club is still signed to Virgin Records in England, if the band makes any more albums together, expect to see them on the new Virgin America label. . . . On the academic front: Brian Eno will be moonlighting this winter, teaching Fine Arts at Welsh College, while Robert Fripp has signed on as a guitar instructor at a Washington-area school. Whoever passes the course gets to go out on a brief tour with Fripp. . . . From our “All in the Family” Dept.: Whitney Houston has recorded a duet with veteran singer Cissy Houston (yup, her mom). The ballad, “I Know Him So Well,” will be on Whitney’s next record.
