Reagan and the Unfolding Iran-Contra Story
I have to agree with the President, which is to say the jackals of the press corps are at it again. It’s the same old story of finding some issue of little importance to the well-being of this country, and completely blowing it out of proportion. Who is even going to remember this thing 10 years from now?
But the predators have drawn blood, and there is no stopping them. Who will be the next quarry? Will it be the attorney general, the director of the CIA, the secretary of state, or perhaps even the President himself? The more the merrier, and of course it makes for great copy.
