5.5 Quake Jolts Taiwan

TAIPEI, Taiwan —
An earthquake that measured 5.5 on the Richter scale jolted eastern Taiwan on Monday, the Central Weather Bureau reported. Police said there were no immediate reports of casualties or damage from the quake, which struck at 5:38 p.m. and was felt in Taipei.
