Torrance : Hospital Adopts School
Little Company of Mary Hospital will adopt Bishop Montgomery High School in ceremonies today in the school library.
The new relationship is part of a Torrance Chamber of Commerce Adopt-a-School program in which companies support schools to improve education and introduce students to the working world.
About 20 employees of Little Company will present programs on medical careers at the hospital for Bishop Montgomery students. Since the chamber program was begun four years ago, 10 companies have adopted schools in Torrance.
