Local News in Brief : Burbank Public Works Director to Quit Post
Burbank Public Works Director Steven M. Magnuson, who has supervised the city’s street maintainence and public works systems for the last eight years, resigned Tuesday, saying he wants to devote more time to his private structural engineering business.
Magnuson, 44, who lives in Manhattan Beach, said he will leave his post on Dec. 31, but may stay longer until Burbank City Manager Bud Ovrom finds a replacement.
