Jetliner Evacuated in Detroit Bomb Scare

DETROIT —
An Eastern Air Lines jetliner was evacuated Friday at Detroit Metropolitan Airport because of a bomb threat to a passenger, an airport spokesman said.
Mike Conway of airport relations said the call was directed at “a specific passenger.” “The plane was taken to a safe area. Passengers were moved off the plane and checked,” Conway said.
