Jaywalker Hazard
Bravo to the Los Angeles police who gave tickets to the jaywalkers from Buffalo, N.Y. They knew they were breaking the law, but felt the police should have informed them that the laws were enforced. Too many people in Los Angeles run red lights, weave in traffic, make rolling stops, park on the wrong side of the street and jaywalk. Because they think they have a right to pick and choose when they will or will not obey the laws, they annoy and endanger others. Such unneeded problems make everyone surly, including the police, so I say the more tickets given to these yahoos, the better life will be for the rest of us.
