New York Jet Coach Joe Walton said he will decide before practice today whether Pat Ryan or Ken O’Brien will start at quarterback against the Cleveland Browns in Saturday’s AFC semifinal playoff game at Cleveland.
Ryan replaced a slumping O’Brien Sunday and threw three touchdown passes to spark New York to a 35-15 victory over Kansas City. The victory snapped the Jets’ five-game losing streak in which they were outscored, 183-61, as O’Brien threw 12 interceptions and only 2 touchdowns.
