Local News in Brief : $100,000 Loss Reported in Burbank Studio Fire

A fire on a sound stage at The Burbank Studios caused an estimated $100,000 in damage Wednesday, Burbank fire officials said.
The building’s sprinkler system confined the fire to a prop storage area and firefighters put out the blaze about 30 minutes after it began at 2:30 p.m., Battalion Chief Stan Nelson said. The fire’s cause was under investigation, Nelson said.
No one was working at the sound stage when the fire started, he said.
