$250,000 Gift Will Support Fellowships

UCLA has received a $250,000 gift from Louis and Thelma Lippman to establish two fellowships to be awarded annually to outstanding graduate students.
Half of the award will go to an endowed fellowship in the Graduate School of Management. The other half will be reserved for the Chancellor’s Fellowship Program, which gives scholarships to exceptional graduate students in the College of Fine Arts and the College of Letters and Science.
Louis Lippman, retired president of Savings Oil Co., is a member of the UCLA Major Gifts Committee and the Chancellor’s Associates.
