A fetus, wrapped in a plastic grocery bag, was found in Santa Ana near a dumpster behind a closed discount store, police said. An autopsy is scheduled today, said Santa Ana police spokeswoman Maureen Thomas. The sex of the fetus had not been determined and it was not known whether it was the result of an abortion or miscarriage, Thomas said. It was discovered by three girls as they walked behind a former Gemco store at 1330 East 17th St. “We have no leads in the case,” Thomas said.
