The department’s Street Crime Task Force found hundreds of blank registration and Social Security cards in an apartment in the 500 block of East Vermont Avenue after they received a tip about narcotics in the apartment, Sgt. Chet Barry said. Federal agents from the Secret Service were called to investigate the case, Barry said.
Police arrested five men in the apartment; they were identified as: Cedrick Cap, 18, of Fullerton; Francisco Santos, 23, of Orange; Jose Ponce, 20, of Anaheim; Flepe Rivas, 37, of Riverside, and Jorge Solvad), 42, of Fullerton. The men were booked on suspicion of possession of false identification and were taken to a federal facility.
