Garden Grove : Officers Blame Speed in Freeway Exit Death
A 19-year-old Garden Grove man was killed Sunday night when he lost control of his speeding car on a freeway off-ramp and struck a tree, authorities said.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Paul A. Vatnsdal was driving a 1981 Mazda about 90 m.p.h. when he left the Garden Grove Freeway on Magnolia Street, swerving from side to side until the car went down an embankment and hit a tree.
