John Lucas, who tested positive for drugs last year for the second time in as many seasons, has reached a verbal agreement to sign with the Milwaukee Bucks. A contract could be signed by the middle of next week.
Lucas, 33, was put on waivers last season by the Houston Rockets and has been undergoing rehabilitation for the last 10 months at Houston International Hospital. He is getting another chance to play in the NBA because he volunteered for drug rehabilitation.
